October is Mental Health month!
We wanted to do our part so have decided to do a collab with Andrea Brunetti from Sileo pizzeria in Italy. With the special help from Ben Brown and Shane Delia who also created a special pasta dish for the night.
Andrea has had a very difficult few years, during and after covid. He was badly burnt at work and had to be hospitalised, during covid he went though some mental issues, depressions and others, on top of that he discovered he had undiagnosed Tourette's syndrome and just when the period could go any worse he broke up with his long time partner leaving him by himself collecting the pieces.
Instead of staying to commiserate himself he took all his courage and money and decided to play "all in" against all the events of his life, he opened his pizza place called Sileo - from the latin for new start - and in a very short time he become one of the top 100 best pizza shop in Italy! (according to 50top guide)
He came to Melbourne to do a 4hands dinner to bring his pizza creation to Melbournian's public and to gain awareness to mental issues while finishing the book about his story.
We are honoured he is coming to our stores to be present at the dinner and we will devolve 100% of all taking of the day to Life Line
